    Graduated the University of Aizu Graduate School. Then joined Hitachi Telecom Technology Co., Ltd. (currently Hitachi, Ltd.) in 1999. In 2000, joined a mobile content provider and worked as a programmer and as an SE to setup and operate a variety of content. In 2014, became an executive officer of a company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. While concurrently serving as a director at five subsidiaries, works on a wide range of business management tasks including company-wide and group-wide business strategies, organizational strategies, and business management.

    Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University with a degree in International Political Economy. Joined Merrill Lynch Japan Securities (now BofA Securities) as a new graduate. He worked for about 13 years in the Equities Division of the Global Markets Department, where he was engaged in sales of Japanese equities to institutional investors in Japan and overseas. Later, at the Financial Strategy Department of Mizuho Securities, he was engaged in the establishment of a solution business for corporate clients, utilizing his knowledge of the market. He experienced a wide range of equity business, including dissolving cross-shareholdings of large companies, creating equity stories of growing companies, advising on investor relations, and fundraising from the market's viewpoint.

    He is a graduate of Harvard Business School. He has worked at Mitsubishi Corporation, Sodexo Corporation (currently LEOC Corporation), and Lawson, Inc. before being appointed to his current position as President and CEO of Suntory Holdings in 2014.
     
    In his public career, he has been a member of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy, headed by the Prime Minister, since 2014. Also a member of the All-Generation Social Security Review Council since 2019, and a member of the Future Investment Council of 2020. He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Japan Business Federation Council since 2018, and as Vice Representative Secretary of Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) for the second time since 2020.
    He is also a member of the Executive Board of the International Chamber of Commerce, the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum, the Advisory Board of the World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the Vice Chairman of the Asia Business Council. He is also a member of the Global Board of Advisors of the Council on Foreign Relations and The Business Council of the United States.

    While a student at Keio University's Faculty of Policy Management, developed and operated various web services such as a blog service. After graduating, worked at a mobile phone content provider where he managed the planning, development, and operation of many web services centering on e-learning for language studies and school entrance exams. Went on to become a freelance manager for developing a flash marketing site.

    In November 2011, established CrowdWorks Inc. and installed as Director.

    Graduated from Meiji University's School of Political Science and Economics. Joined CrowdWorks as a new graduate in 2016. He launched "CrowdTech," an agent service for freelance engineers and designers, managed the business of "Cyta," a C2C skills platform, and led the acquisition, PMI, and business growth of "CrowdLog," a productivity improvement SaaS service, growing the company tenfold in approximately five years. In 2023, he became Executive CRO, responsible for company-wide performance management and the acquisition and launch of AI businesses. In 2024, he became responsible for M&A, leading the group's strategy and handling a total of 18 M&A transactions.

    He has 20 years of experience in the IT industry, leading the development of a wide range of products from mobile applications to large-scale web services. At Fenrir Inc., as a project manager of contracted development, he oversaw the development of portal applications for a megabank and official applications for a health and fitness equipment manufacturer, and promoted organizational and business expansion as a business manager. At Kakaku.com, Inc., he led the system development centered on Kakaku.com as the general manager of the System Division, driving the replacement of legacy systems, improvement of developer experience and productivity, strategic planning, organizational design, and DevOps system construction.

    After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Economics, engaged in new business launches and marketing strategy formulation at KDDI Corporation, contributing to the growth of the WiMAX business. At SIGMAXYZ Inc., served as a consultant leading multiple strategic agendas including M&A, PMI, and new business development. After joining CrowdWorks Inc., drove corporate strategy as General Manager of Corporate Planning, and from May 2025, led the launch of the consulting business.

Managed full P&L responsibility for businesses generating over 24 billion JPY in annual revenue. Proven track record in leading large-scale organizational turnaround and growth through fundamental restructuring of profit models, productivity enhancements, and significant improvements in eNPS .

  • AdviserTadao Ishizumi

    After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Keio University, he joined a stationery manufacturer. A year later, he was sent to the U.S. to cultivate the stationery market, where he served as manager of the Chicago branch and then as vice president. In 1986, he established Reed Exhibitions Japan K.K. (now RX Japan), a trade show organizer, and became its president, growing it into one of the world's largest and most profitable companies. In 2009, he was elected Chairman of the Japan Association of Exhibition & Convention Bureau. He also retired as president of the Japan Exhibition Association and became honorary chairman. 2021, he retired from two honorary chairmanships and became advisor to the Nittenkyo. 2022, he became chairman of the board of directors of Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center in his hometown of Niigata. He is the author of "Honesty is No Fool" (Diamond Inc.), which is highly regarded as an enlightening book on trade fairs, and has given about 90 lectures at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and other ministries and local governments.
